Chamber businesses and their employees are invited to attend and each event is sponsored by a different area business allowing everyone the opportunity to highlight their business.
Business After Hours (BAH) event is a casual, social Chamber Admirals function provided for the enjoyment of its members and prospective members. BAH allows Chamber members to meet one another, to introduce new and prospective members, to network and promote businesses in a relaxed social atmosphere. In general, BAH events are scheduled on the 2nd Monday of the month from 5:30 – 7:00 pm.
Hosts provide refreshments and often take the time to display business materials, conduct tours and/or provide door prizes which represent/promote theirs or other’s business. There is typically no formal agenda, however, the Admiral President/Chamber President always takes a few moments to introduce the event sponsor, thank guests and members, announce any upcoming events and give the sponsor the opportunity to say a few words to promote their establishment. New Chamber members/businesses in attendance are also introduced and given an opportunity to offer a “60 second commercial” about their business.
